She has also contributed to two combined-artist books, Big Book of $5.00 Crafts and Let's Have A Party published by House of White Birches. If you are interested in painting, I encourage you to give it a try. It is a wonderful hobby. My booklets are designed for the beginning painter. Ladybug Lane was my very first published design. It appeared in the Mega Country Project Collection of Country Marketplace in 1999. Wow, I can still remember the excitement of that day. I did a little dance (the dance of joy) in the kitchen when the phone call came in.

Let's do it again girls!

We headed to Nashville with our designing dreams.

We had a blast...and learned a little about each other in the process...Susan learned never to let Reba do the bartering for her (Ever heard that saying "Give the shirt off your back"?), and Carolyn learned she needed toothpicks to hold her eyes open if she wanted to stay up into the wee hours. I learned good friends (especially painting friends) make life much more fun!
